Farrah Leni Fawcett was a American model, actress, and performer best known for her role in the film "The Apostle. Her work was awarded the Emmy Award four times and the Golden Globe award six times throughout her career. Born in Corpus Christi, Texas, she began her career appearing in commercials. Furthermore, she's been in guest roles on the television series I Dream of Jeannie and The Flying Nun. In the French film, 'Love Is a Funny Thing', she played a supporting character. She became internationally known for the iconic red swimming suit poster which eventually became the best selling pin-up poster ever. She participated in numerous other popular TV movies and series that contributed to her becoming a sex symbol in the world of entertainment.
