Samantha Mohr

Mohr was one of the UGA student. She took part in her first pageant following being advised by a fellow student. Mohr was crowned Miss Columbus 1985. After winning, Mohr could be eligible for her place in the Miss Georgia pageant which was held in June of 1985. Mohr was the winner of Saturday's competition, June 22 1985. More than $3500 was awarded to Mohr in scholarship money and other prizes. In her role as Miss Georgia included appearances in public spots all over Georgia. Mohr represented Georgia at the Miss America 1986 pageant in Atlantic City, New Jersey during September of 1985. Mohr had a odds of 22-to-one for winning the Miss America title. Computer modelling proved to be successful in forecasting Susan Akin's victory. Mohr did not make it to the top 10 finalist list in the race for the nation's crown. Mohr's reign in the role of Miss Georgia lasted until she crowned her successor, Marlesa Ball, as Miss Georgia 1986 on June 28th in 1986. Samantha Samantha Samantha
